The mixed use retail and office building located at 180 Post Road East in downtown Westport has sold for $11 million. The building sold for $10.6 million and an additional $400,000 was paid for the parking lot located next to the building at 11 Bay Street. The buyer was Luzern Associates, LLC, a property management company that is located in neighboring Wilton. Luzern Associates, LLC operates a number of multi-family apartments and office buildings. The sale was brokered by Cushman and Wakefield.
The building has first floor retail space that is occupied by Michele’s Pies and Destination Maternity. The second floor contains 17,798 square feet of office space. The building was once a movie theater and sits on 1.33 acres of land on the corner of Post Road East and Bay Street. It contains 32,481 total square feet and was built in 1969.
