Kerin Speaks at Wesleyan Conference

Chris Kerin was a guest speaker at the 2015 Connecticut Land Conservation Conference held at Wesleyan University.  Despite the snow, turnout was strong at the State’s largest annual full-day land conservation gathering.

Chris taught an afternoon workshop on Appraisal for Land Acquisition, covering topics such as Yellow Book appraisal standards, conservation easement valuation, and the requirements of the CT Open Space Acquisition Program.

The Connecticut Land Conservation Conference provides training for the State’s conservation community.  Attendees included board members, staff and volunteers from Connecticut’s 137+ land trusts, land use professionals and volunteers, municipal land use commission members, advocates, environmental educators, students and others interested in land conservation.  The 31st Annual Conference was held on Saturday, March 21, 2015.
