Chris Kerin and David Herbst will be among the presenters at University of Connecticut’s Annual Assessor’s School held at the Storrs campus in the beginning of June. The School offers courses approved by the CCMA Committee and advanced CAAO workshops. It’s open to all Connecticut assessors, members of boards of assessment appeals and other residents (on a space-available basis) concerned with the problems of property tax administration.
Kerin and Herbst will be presenting for the CAAO Workshop, “Nursing Home and Assisted Living Valuation” on June 9th. This course offering provides an overview of the relation between trends in the senior housing industry and the valuation of skilled nursing facilities, assisted/independent living and Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC’s).
